Top Tip For TikTok For Small Businesses

I’ve been going on a little learning journey over on TikTok, and one of the things that I has been the most useful, is a free tool called Creator Search Insights.

This is where you can find out what's working, what's popular and trending etc so you can get a kick start to your content.

In the TikTok app, tap the Search button at the top. Search "creator search insights" and tap View at the top of the search results.

You can browse topics that are frequently searched for on TikTok and discover topics that may be lacking in content.

You can then view popluar topics on TikTok, just use the filters such as Content Gap or Searches By Followers to explore suggested and popular content. You can also look for something specific in the search bar.

Once you find something that resonates with you, click on the topic, and you'll see a 'Create' button. Click that and upload your content from tat page and you will be working with TikTok's algorithm - which in turn helps you to get ahead.

One of the most valuable features, is the Content gap search which are topics that are searched for often, but aren't featured in a large number of videos on TikTok.

If you can create content to fill that gap .. then you're onto a winner!

To use some features on TikTok you need to have more than 1000 followers, and to get to that point you need to be using good engaging content very regularly. More on that in a separate post!
